Upon attainment of age:
75 through age 79 - 50% of the above amount
80 and thereafter - 25% of the above amount

Critical Illness Benefit
If the insured qualifies for benefits, due to any of the following conditions:
Life threatening cancer, heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, a major organ transplant.
Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company will pay the insured an additional, one-time, lump sum benefit in an amount equal to 10% of the death benefit under the basic life portion of the policy up to a maximum of $1,500.
This 10% does not reduce the total death benefit amount.
